Literary Route of Dragotin Kette (in Slovenian Kettejeva pot) is a literary route dedicated to the writer Dragotin Kette (1876–1899), one of the representatives of Slovenian modernism. It was established by the Kettejeva Pot Society in 2006.
It connects Prem, the birthplace of Dragotin Kette, with Trnovo (today a part of town Ilirska Bistrica), the place of writer's vacation.
Literary Route of Dragotin Kette is for all of you who are looking for inspiration to achieve your life goals and who love literature, cultural heritage, nature, recreation, and local cuisine.
The Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica, together with other actors, is renovating it as part of the Continuity of Self project. The renovated literary route will be officially opened on the Slovenian cultural holiday, February 8, 2025.

- Dragotin Kette memorial room: visit the building of the former elementary school in Prem, where the writer Dragotin Kette was born on January 19, 1876, and get to know his turbulent and short life, only 23 years long, which was nevertheless very successful. He wrote several well-known literary works, such as the fairy tale Seamstress and the Scissors, The Boy and the Flower and the poem On the Square. He was later recognized as a representative of Slovenian modernism. The memorial room was arranged by the Committee for Arrangement of the Dragotin Kette memorial room with Vojko Čeligoj at the head in 1968. It presents the life of Dragotin Kette and the black kitchen. Among the objects, we can point out a piano, which Dragotin and his father Filip may have played together. - Prem Castle: visit one of the most witnessing built historical sources in the River basin, which was first mentioned indirectly in written sources in 1213. Its owners and managers changed over time and left their mark on it. Permanent and temporary exhibitions are on display at the castle, various events are also held, such as weddings, concerts, workshops for children, Knight's Day and others.
